This is my final version of this scrap of mine (if you don't watch scraps, then shame on you).
I tried to make this image look like this deviation, but once I made it into an earth-like image, it didn't really look all that good. Think I needed more detail closer to the camera.
This is downtown Ann Arbor Michigan, on the University of Michigan campus. You might recognize that clock tower from some of my other photos
Anyway, this image is a big panoramic. It's 360 degrees around horizontal, and about 80 degrees up and down. It's made up of 144 images shot with an 8 mega pixel camera (Canon Powershot SX100 IS). So it was quite large. The file size of the scrap I linked to was 10.6 gigabytes big, and took about 35 minutes to save. After I cropped it, it shot down to about 6 gigabytes big.
you can download this to see a bigger version. I would have uploaded the full sized version, but it's 21892x6900 pixels and 210 megabytes big
So you know the drill, I appreciate any comments or critiques you might have
Wow that is a HUGE PHOTO, the full size anyways...HOW SO BIG!? IS IT RAWWWWWWWW!?!?!??!!?!?! hax. ANYWAYS, really nice photo, I LOVE the symmetry here, keep up the good work
