Ferris Wheel at Night by electricjonny Ferris Wheel at Night by electricjonny
God these are hard to categorize sometimes. I was torn between this and country life.

Anyway, I went to the local fair today and watched a cool demo derby. You can see those here and here. I've always wanted to do the already overdone long exposure ferris wheel shot, and here's my attempt. I couldn't really get the angle I wanted, but I think it works.

Basic crop, curves and color corrections in photoshop along with a slight glow to bring out the white lights better.

ThebCircus is awesome, but in a very macabre kind of way.

This might be an overused subject as you say, but this is still an awesome shot. Overused or not, it is still mindblowing.
