i just got my holga in the mail and i went out and shot a roll the other day. im new to the holga stuff so tell me what i can do to improve my photos, although i'm pretty happy with my first roll.
this is actually an old school. it used to look much older but some company bought the land and had to restore it somewhat.
nice job framing that school. the BW is great especially on the roof and the bricks ( great textures ). i keep telling myself i should break down and buy a holga/diana one day.
i've never seen work done with a holga before, but just from seeing these few pictures here, i'm amazed and intrigued. i think i might need one!! is that 120 film?
Congratulations on your Holga purchase. The shot is great. Nice composition. Post more...
Have you tried 35mm on your Holga yet? Get a roll of NPH or E100G and get it cross processed, you'll be amazed at the results you can get from the Holga.
yeah i was going to try the 35mm film trick next. is it easy to get the fim cross processed? from the things i've found on the internet, it looks pretty cool. thanks for the advice.
Electricjonny, I think your Holga photos are cool because of the vingetting and blurred lines. I love that look and was actually wanting to get a Holga or Diana myself. What does cross processing mean?
thanks for the comments, basicly it means getting color film processed in color slide film chemicals. you get saturated false colors and wierd contrast things. at least that is what i've read about it, i have yet to try it!
