I shot this a couple days ago. This is Barton Dam near Ann Arbor Michigan.

This isn't exactly the shot I planned to shoot. I originally shot this standing above the dam in the center (which you can see in the shot), but after shooting the 360 degree panoramic and going up and down about 90 degrees, I had a lot of trouble making the panoramic out of it due to how complex the bottom of it was. After I shot it, I decided to go and shoot another one in the river in front here. It was just a last minute shot and I had to use a smaller image size because my memory card was getting full.

But in the end, I couldn't get my intentional shot working but I did get this one working, so it pays to shoot extra things :)

Anyway, this was shot by me standing in the river (in about two and a half feet of water) and doing a 360 degree horizontal and 90 degree vertical panoramic. It's a tad different than the other Mini Planets I've done, so that's why I like it.

For anyone wanting to know how to do this, you can see a tutorial here.

Feel free to download this to see a bigger version (3215x3129 pixels, 8.15 MB).

You can see more of these here :)

Haha yeah, it tends to do strange things to buildings. I want to shoot more of just tall buildings, but I haven't found a good spot yet.

Thanks for the comments :thanks:
