Square collection of beautiful photos

Artist's Comments
This is in Ann Arbor Michigan, on the University of Michigan campus.
I don't quite like how the center turned out, because of the distortion in the shadows, but it's not too bad. I also used the Liquify filter in Photoshop to make all the edges of the red bricks strait, and there's some jaggedness there. They bowed in a lot in the original. For anyone wanting to know how to do this, you can see a tutorial here. Feel free to download this to see a bigger version (4648x4016 pixels, 8 MB). You can see more of these here I'll be posting a couple more of these, so let me know how this looks Comments
I like this one best, especially the center, though, the clouds kinda screw it up for me, that is, the way they stretch out of the picture and alter the flow for me.
Nevertheless, I like it. Nice job. -- DISCLAIMER: Above statements may be entirely false. Big boobs are just a distraction from the floor show. This is like so amazing man, wow I was not sure what it was until I gave the full view, at first I thought was something done with textures but when I zoomed in
-- This is so cool!!
They're so colorful! I think a lot of it has to do with the sky and the focal points you chose (The UofM one had a pretty cool design in the grass/sidewalks too, and I looooove the Compass in the Ferris State one.) But as far as this image is concerned, I like the way you pulled the shadows into the center of the square. You should print off these images and sell them to businesses in the respective areas. I'm sure they'd love them! Hell, if I owned a store pictured in that "Ann Arbor" one, I'd definitely buy one of these prints and hang it on the wall. It's just so cool! Kudos all around. -- --------------------------------------------- [insert meaningful signature here] --------------------------------------------- |
