My Mini Planet calendar has this image for the month of February. I shot this back in August, and I'm not quite sure why I never submitted it here. But I think it looks pretty good, so I'm uploading it now.

This is a park near me, and it's along the Huron River in my hometown, Ann Arbor Michigan.

This is a trail going through the woods that has the river on each side. If you look to the far left, where the trail meets a walkway, that walkway is the location of this other Mini Planet.

This kinda reminds me of those spheres, with water and plants in them :paranoid:
I think it would be nicer if the bench was in the middle with two old grandpa's sitting on them, to really make it feel like a 'planet' .

Haha, well it would be nice to have some people on the benches, but since it takes around 45 minutes to shoot all the pictures here, having people sit still for that long is a bit hard =P That, and it's just hard to photograph people in these mini planets. They keep moving :shakefist:

That would be a lot easier :lol:

I might have to play with that idea the next time I shoot one. I just try not to manipulate them too much, even though the whole thing is a giant manipulation :slow:

Well dont manip the people tho, just keep them as they are. I mean if you turn them into aliens it would lose all its charm :lol:

But you should totally get two grampa's and a german sherperd orso sitting next to it. Thats how I picture the park :#1:
