Since journals have changed, this doesn't work. It might work, for a short time, if you aren't a beta tester, but if you're a beta tester, then this won't work anymore.
Edit This now works in Chrome, so you can use it for Chrome or Firefox if you want
I was thinking of new ideas for a script I could write, and to do that, I thought of things I do that could be made easier. I always add a link to edit my journal in a (semi) hidden link on each journal, but it's annoying to do that since I have to make the journal and then go and edit it right away to add in the URL for the edit.
So I thought I would make it easier. With this script, you can easily edit a journal of yours without going through the hassle of getting to the page to edit the journal.
You won't notice anything at first, but when you hover over the top right corner of any journal you've made, you'll see an edit button fade in. There's no a href link on the edit button (it would be hard to add a link in due to how I'm finding the edit link), but if you click that button, you'll be taken to the edit page so you can edit the journal.
This will work on your userpage, any specific journal page, and even on your main journal page in case you want to edit any journal there.
This is a fairly simple script, but I think it will be useful to some of you
To Install
This works for Chrome, or Firefox (with Greasemonkey).
Then you can copy this into a new tab or click to install it:
Because of how some journal beta stuff is happening right now, this just might not work, and I don't want to try and fix it since they're changing how the code works and it might work after I fix it, but then it might just break again.
So sorry, but because of the beta testing with journals, this might not be able to work again, sorry
