They went and changed how those buttons work, so you'll have to update this if you want it looking normal again. Just reload this from the userstyles link at the bottom The button isn't quite normal while you're editing a module, but I sort of like how it looks with this style. It used to have a bright orange button at the top right, now it's semi-transparent. I fixed it, but I'm guessing they'll change it again since the image that has those buttons now has a few extra icons in it... wonder what they have in store for us /* edit */ I changed the buttons slightly. These buttons are more like the buttons at the top of your userpage. The old ones were just a little dark, and lacked any gradients. So you can view the preview here to see the new ones, and if you want to upgrade, head on over to this userstyles page and get it again /* edit */ /* Read this if userstyles.org isn't working */ Well userstyles.org is notorious for having a pretty crappy time keeping their site up and running, so if you get any error clicking the link below, then follow these steps. Right click on your Stylish icon, then select Write Style ► Blank Style... Then you give it a name, something to remind you of what this does (the name doesn't matter at all, it's just for you to keep track of things), then go to this site and copy everything on the page (Control+A ► Control+C) and paste it into the body of you style. Then hit save and you should be good to go I don't know about you, but when I go to my userpage, I find that the Edit and New buttons stand out. I think they should not stand out as much. It sort of distracts me from my page. Anyway, I cooked up a quick and simple fix for it. This makes the buttons pretty translucent normally, and when you hover over them, they are at full opacity. I also hate that they're blue when you hover over them, so I just made them the normal looking buttons when you hover, only they're at full opacity. When you click on them (the active state), they are semi transparent. /* To Install */ You must have Firefox with the Stylish extension. Then go to this userstyles page and click the Load into Stylish button. Let me know what you think Daily DeviationGiven 2009-02-02Translucent Userpage Buttons by `electricjonny. The suggester says, 'A very useful little Stylish script for everyone who finds the "Edit"-buttons on their userpage a tad too distracting. And I know there are quite a lot of people who think so.' (Suggested by `DeMaulwurfn and Featured by `TerrorCookie) CommentsDon't know if you noticed, but I made this suggestion on the new profile thread. Well, not the translucent suggestion, but to remove them completely. ¢mindfuckx suggested something similar to this here script.

And it would be pretty easy to edit the CSS to make it so they're totally transparent until you hover over them. The only thing is it's a little hard to figure out where to hover, especially on your poll, which has an Edit button and a New button. Making them show only when you click the Edit Layout button would require some JavaScripting, which I can't do. i do
