First of all, I don't know much about JavaScript. But I wanted to upload this because I find it kind of useful

Basically, this changes changes how the privclass order is set, and lets you change it with two new commands.

/orderalpha
/orderjoin

You'll notice, if you install this, that the order of the privclasses are based on join time and not alphabetical like it normally is.

This is mostly a personal preference since I like to see things based on when people join. But if you select /orderalpha, things are ordered based on alphabetical order. /orderjoin puts people based on join time.

This can be helpful to people if they run an interview and want to have people ask questions based on when they joined the the room. Or if you just want to see who's been in the room the longest


I want to say that I did not write this alone. I had a lot of help with this, since I don't know a lot of JavaScript and how to write code.

The only odd thing I've found is if you change a room to /joinalpha and then you join a new room, that new room will have it's privclass order set to alphabetical order and not to join order like it usually is when you join a room. I'm not quite sure why that is, but it's not that big of a deal.

The main thing to remember is that you can switch a room's privclass order if you use the command /orderalpha or /orderjoin.

Feel free to modify this or change it around to suit your own needs

To Install

First, you must have Firefox and have the Greasemonkey extension installed.

Then go to this site and click the green Install button at the top right. Then reload the chat page and you should have the new /orderalpha and /orderjoin commands.
