i finaly got a decent roll out of my newley aquired 1940's Detrola model E camera. i have some light leak, focus, and framing issues to work out yet, but i think they add a little personality to these pictures.

the camera is supposed to take 127 film (comes on a spool with a paper backing, bigger than 35 but smaller than 120) but hunting that film down on the internet is tricky so i just stuffed a roll of 35 in there. the people at meijer must of had a fun time developing this roll.

this was taken in the back of a Kmart. i liked the way the sun made the plant stand out like that, i only wish it was a little more in focus.

thanks, i'm kinda liking it now. it reminds me of a still frame from an old 8mm video or something.
