niagara at night by electricjonny niagara at night by electricjonny
i stoped by niagara falls on my way back from new york, but i didn't get there till it was dark. oh well, i got some long exposure stuff in. i didn't get much of the actual falls because the mist kept icing up on the lense, and it was bloody cold out.

this is right before the falls on the US side. the scan came out pretty crappy so there was a lot of spotting done to this.

pentax k1000, 50mm lense, fuji superia 200
crop, curves, spotting in photoshop

Oh cool.

I really want to go back and shoot some more. I was using a film camera, so I didn't shoot a whole lot.

Haha, it's been ages since I shot any holga shots. But I think I'll do some more. I just have to find some 120 film and get some developer/fixer so I can develop them in my bathroom =P

Haha yeah. I forget what I use, but I D76 sounds familiar. And just normal water for the rinse bath.

Very nice :D minus all the spots that is =P well anyway, i love the water. very nice and soft, almost as if the clouds decided to come down and make a river of clouds. The trees though probably would have been nicer if the change of dark to light wasn't so, um, can't think of the right word, ... harsh

yeah, i know what you mean. believe me, the prints look better. i had a hard time with dust spots and contrast issues.

thanks for the comments though, i'll keep them in mind when i submit other night stuff.
